2016 CLS 400 2015 Build Apple Carplay Question
I know that my usb needs to be replaced and some sort of update done. That usb is $99 online so not a big deal. Looks like I need to make some phone calls. Thanks for reply !Last edited by Rafichicago; Jan 21, 2020 at 12:08 PM.
On a side note, I would recommend you look at the simple install of an Amazon Echo in your car. Total cost is around $60 and you end up with many of the features of Carplay at a fraction of the cost. Install is silly easy and takes about 5 minutes. I have mine in the back seat divider, where the ashtray is located. Out of the way, unseen and still works with voice activation. Also, with a simple pairing to the car's speakers, you can listen to music through any of the providers, (I use Amazon Music) over your car's stereo system)
