2015-2017 CLS Panamericana/GTR Grill
Has anybody gone about installing one of those panamericana/gtr grills for their facelift CLS? I've found a picture of one on instagram and from what it shows, it looks great. The plan is to get my hands on an all black one. I spent a bunch of time trying to find an actual picture of a 2015-2017 CLS with the hood closed (lol), but it's really hard to find them, most of them are for the C class.
It seems like the outer edges were vinyl wrapped as I do not believe they were apart of the diamond grill. Don't get me wrong, the diamond grill looks great, but I've seen a couple of these grills drive around, and they just draw my eyes to them so much lol! I see diamond grills all the time, but the GTR grill is always rare and eye catching. This grill is just absolutely MEAN looking.

Its kinda hard to find one for the CLS considering most sellers on eBay. ship from China and it’ll take up to two months. Best price including shipping I can find runs around $500 cad. Wish there was a white facelift cls with a proper image haha.

Looks sick. I saw a 2021 GLE in the opposite direction with the grille, couldn't take my eyes off of it. When do you plan on installing yours? Have you already bought the grille?

Saw an e400 coupe with it on and it looked so nice I thought it was an amg from the front but looked so nice I’m doing it when I get the time

Mbhouse. It's kinda hard to find the grill in all black for the 2015-2017's, and if you do find one, they're in China or Europe, and the shipping time it would've taken was around 2 months, unless I paid something absurd like $150 USD to get it within 10 business days.

Oh I'll be doing the installation at home. I have two jacks at home, and there's a ton of videos and guides on how to remove the bumper, so I don't really see the point in getting it done at a shop unless you have no way of jacking the car up. I'll be vinyl wrapping it myself, I think it looks ugly with the black panamericana grill if you don't vinyl wrap the edges with gloss black vinyl, I think it'd be a different story if you bought the chrome panamericana grill. I Vinyl wrapped the chrome around the windows as well and the chrome trunk strip so I have some experience there. From MBhouse, the grill was $480 CAD with shipping.

Hi, I thought I'd install it myself but a lot of stuff came up this past month and a half, and I just decided to get it done at a shop, because I didn't have hours to spend anymore. This is pretty much the only diamond white metallic 2015+ CLS on the internet with a proper picture of the grill. On my way to the shop, I was literally in shock of how good it looked lol, it looks so aggressive now and instantly draws more attention. Where I live, there are very very few CLS' classes, and there are a ton of CLA's. The CLA's come with the diamond grill, so switching to this grill just makes it look like it's something else.

Quality is as good as it gets. You can order them on eBay, most come from China and I think there's one provider from the UK that ships faster. I ordered the black one through mbhouse.ca, but their supplier is from China, so it comes from China, not Canada. They also ship via DHL, so expect like $50-80 in import fees if you do go this route.

On the picture topic, could you take a pic from a lower point and step back? I'd like to see how it looks from the front when you're looking at the car from a bit farther, if you can. But overall looks awesome, you got me interested too))

I’ll take them tomorrow, as it’s raining today.
