Talking Aired out on 20x9 20x11s!!!

Within a month of having the car I've already got new wheels, tires, air suspension obd lowering module, tint, resonator and muffler delete
In these pics she's sitting in the max lowered height (-70mm / 2.75") and it fits PERFECTLY with about 1mm of clearance all the way around. Obviously I can't drive it in this height (have to make sure the wheel is perfectly straight before I can even lower this low lol) but it's strictly for show. I always drive in the factory comfort Airmatic setting, where you can't even feel the fact that it has aftermarket wheels on it, rides as good as it did on the stock 19" Multi-Spoke AMG wheels.

Wheel setup:
Stance SF07 Brushed Gunmetal
Front: Face 1 20x9 ET 25
Rear: Face 3 20x11 ET 38
Tire Sizes: 255/35/20 285/30/20

I actually thought of doing that haha. Not for fun, but to generate a decent following and for cashflow reasoning or some vendors will offer steep discounts on your build lol. But I gave it up. I'll follow you guys on IG too haha. Mine is Roop_550

Oh yea, that ride looks pretty neat. I wish I ran 11s in the back. I was told by almost everyone that they won't fit and will rub. Dammit. lol

Did any of your guys' B pillar black panel go bad? Mine started to shed the clear coat and I applied the 3M vinyl wrap...it got bubbles now :/ lol should I have it replaced or get it wrapped professionally? That's the only flaw that mine has. It saddens me.

Yeah, I think I have that thread bookmarked. But just didn't want to spend almost $100 for both pillars haha. I was just looking for a cheap way out. It does look pretty good and stock-form with the wrap, but it's starting to bubble up.

And I think we should create a Group Chat on IG for quick questions/topics/updates...wdys?

I replaced mine with oem ones
The look was pissing me off and the ebay one was too bulky.

would love to see how that’s done ! I’ll research that at lunch and I think I’m going to buy new ones.

Now that I’m done Under the hood for a little I’m going to start making mine look nicer. I absolutely love the look of this car. I gotta fix my air suspension and then I’m going to buy the lowering module. I also gotta figure out spacers for my wheels, I love my amg wheels would love for them to stick out more flush

In my case the pillars were peeling their tint. I think it got worse when a shop washed my car and caused it to peel even more.

Yeah I learned my lesson too, anyhow, dblok I can do it for you. Replacing the pillars is 1 out of 5 on the difficulty level. Two torq screws, you can pull the pillar from the button and peel it upwards to access them. I Love my lowering module, I have it custom set to - 34mm front and - 32 back.

Awesome bro and Ive been working on the wife’s Escalade lately with a few things here and there and my confidence has gone way up with doing some of the easier stuff. When I order the the lowering module and pillars I’m def gonna have some questions and hit you up. You are close too, you gotta track like right next door to you we should go sometime, I’ve never been

My 2012 also suffers from the B pillar fail....only on one side though LOL! Luckily it's on the passengers side.
