CLS 550 stuttering
Hey guys,

Just recently I have noticed that my car appears to stutter from time to time on mid to blow range acceleration. Only different thing on the car is a new agm battery, and that it's not being driven as much as it used to. Maybe once a week.

Has anyone noticed this ? 80k miles.

Not your battery. Have you used Techcron regularly? I found that mine likes a can with every oil change. Marv

No its been a year, due for an oil change this week, which fuel cleaner techron do you use?

I've read that these cars are unusually sensitive to weak or out-of-spec batteries. I would try reinstalling a factory spec battery before diving into anything else...especially since the problem developed immediately after the battery change. Get the aux battery in the trunk checked as well.

Ended up replacing the oil, problem went away, will drive it a little more often and will add the additives.

Side note, I don't think the maintenance calls for transmission fluid ti be replaced, can people confirm this?
