Never heard of this company before. I personally would choose Weistec out of the two because they're a really big name in the tuning world.
I haven't heard anything about it either, but yes you don't need Weistec or some other "big name" to do your stage1 tuning. For example my tuner in Finland is quite small company Motorbit and it have done excellent job for my car from stage1 to full custom ECU tune and TCU tune for bigger turbos where im now.

Once again, I remind you to consider OE Tuning! My Genius Handheld OBDII device that makes changing back and forth easy. They are professional, economical and get the job done. I've had my stage 1 tune for almost 3 years and no hiccups at all. www.oetuning.com

While not the numbers of Weistec, OE tuning provides 500 HP and 580 TQ for a whole lot less cash. Want a race car go with Weistec, want a streetable fast car for 1/2 the price, go with OE Tuning. Your driving style, your choice.
The more HP/Torque you have the more chance of mechanical problems!!!
Thanks for the recommendation… but after seeing the price, it’s not far off from Weistec, so I’d rather go Weistec. What would be the argument for OE over Weistec.
OE will have a sale starting around Memorial day. The End of Year price was $800 including the hand held. Give Jeremy a call and tell him Marv from CO recommended them and maybe he'll give you the sale price. They are closed Fri-Sun. Marv

Hi. Would be interesting to see Dragy results between Weistec vs. OE tuning.. When comparing tuners marketing numbers you can't be sure what's true etc. different dynos, different power/torque curves etc.
In my opinion In stage1 level you can't broke your car if you really don't want to do it in purpose. It doesn't matter if you have OE, Weistec, RENNtech or what ever tuner.
I got the Weistec tune not too long ago and I love it. I also like the fact that they're in SoCal so you can just go by there. My tune has been perfect, zero problems and always puts a smile on my face every time I start the car.
I ended up going with the Weistec tune and love it so far. I kind of drive like a grandpa and my wife asked me why I needed to spend $1500 for the extra HP that I would probably never use... my response was, "Because I can."
So, I ended up getting it and the difference is night and day. The first time I stepped on the gas (right outside their cul-de-sac), I actually got a little scared of the pull. But the trepidation quickly turned into joy as I sped past people on the freeway on the drive back home. Ricky from Weistec was just flat-out awesome. I highly recommend them.
I'm going to get a Weistec ECU tune on my S550 Coupe..I was also considering the TCU tune as I feel even in sport mode the tranny shifts gears too soon, also the car will not stay in manual mode like the S63 does.
Has anyone here had the TCU software loaded?

I agree. My experience with OE Tuning was first rate. They load the Stage 2 tune (race fuel only) tune in the My Genius as well. Incredible power change, while staying perfectly streetable.
I have a 2017 CLS550 and was thinking of a tune just for the heck of it. I'm an old guy and what I have is plenty powerful for me but a little more might be fun once in a while. I have 57,000 miles on the car and it is in excellent condition. I would like to take it somewhere and have them do it, even if I have to spend a night in a hotel. I don't know much about this except that the car will have more power. I live 100 miles east of Dallas and 100 miles west of Shreveport, La. If I decide to do this, does anyone know of a good place where I could take it in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or Shreveport, La.? Or anywhere in Texas for that matter?
