I have test driven this car below with what Mercedez called the Lounge Edition. It has the same kind and color of wood. Notice the wood on the steering wheel too. I never had a chance to photograph the interior as I was in a hurry to test drive it. It was nice although it is still in matte, not glossy.

Lounge Edition, havent heard of that? Could it have been the Launch Edition, it resembles pictures i have seen that others refer to as the Launch Edition...

Yes, you are right its Launch, not Lounge. I did not look at the sticker, salesman just say Launch Edition. I assumed Lounge.

This is designo, not Brabus, and I wonder why they keep coming up with freaky colors when the Black Birdseye Maple is so much better and so much better received by fans.

The piping is definitley nasty! The "birch" looking wood may not be so bad for a white CLS...
