Home at Last....Home at Last !!!!
Well my garage finally feels like a garage!!!
My CLS-500 was delivered less than three hours ago...and it was worth every second I had to wait and every cent I had to spend.
I will take some photos tomorrow....but I know everyone will want to know the set up so here it goes:

Congratulations! Wood steering wheel - please post some pictures! Yes, Keyless Go ROCK. When I traded in my E500 for my CLS500, 1st question my wife asked me was is the CLS has Keyless Go or not? If not, don't do it!

Hey - quick question - the shifter? is it all wood??? It looks like it in the pic. ??? That is really cool if it is - please let m eknow ASAP - I have immediate ordering to do if that is the case.
Also, on the wood steering wheel for all of us with the AMG package - can you shoot some close up pics of the steering wheel - need pics of the front, side and back to see what switching it out with a wood one will entail since the AMG has those little shifter buttons ont he steering column/back of the steering wheel.

Yes the shifter is all wood and it's part of the trim package...

sirius antenna?
Beautiful ride!My cls is on the water,I can't wait! I noticed that your car doesn't have that ugly mouse-like antenna on the trunk. Where is the sirius antenna? was it factory installed? Thanks for info & BEST OF LUCK !

i can feel your excitement - it reminds me of how i felt (and still feel) - i still look for excuses to drive - even at $2.40/gal. congratulations. let us know how the trim package feels over time.

My salesman talked me out of the factory installed SIRIUS and convinced me to let the dealer install it. That's the way to do it...The antenna is the size of a postage stamp and they placed it right in front of the regular antenna on the roof...It's so small you can barely see it...NOT SOME HUGE THING IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR TRUNK LID!

Nice - Thanks for the pics of the steering wheel - I will have to research today when I'm at the dealership PICKING UP MY CLS!!!!! It came in late last night!!! What an April Fool's present!!!!

See my earlier photo in this thread to see where the dealer installed antenna is located. If you get it installed at the factory they put the antenna right smack in the middleof the trunk lid...OUCH!
