AudiProz,
May I ask you a question? Is the head unit touch screen? what about the Nav (Stock or Alpine) and other MB functions such as changing the clock...
Thanks,
hlkc

Thanks for asking, there was a lot that I left out just for the sake of having more to talk about. The Alpine head is the IVA-D900. It doesn't have touch control, the reason I chose it was for the option to display the information from the head unit out to the rear monitors...I can operate the unit by remote from outside the back of the car while on display at car shows. All of the new touch units did not offer that output, it was needed to view which folder and song I was playing on the iPod from one of the LCD's in the trunk. The factory nav/audio/fiber optic system was removed and replaced by a full Alpine and Diamond Audio stereo system. The new Alpine nav will be on the market in July; it will be added to the CLS at that time. The factory clock can be set using the steering wheel controls, it used to sync with the lcd radio display but is not needed to operate.

wow, nice install. I just have a questions, since you sueded the basicallly the entire car, how come you did not do the seat inserts. Everything looks nice and very clean. Love what you did to the dash, but agian you have an alpine flip out monitor underneath the 10' monitor, wouldnt that block the view of the 10' indash monitor.
