I was looking on ebay and cars.com and saw alotttttt of cls500 and CLS 55 for sale and in any color you want and the prices are ranging in the high 50`s and 60`s and the AMG`s is another story. Why do poeple sell their cars that have only 2000 miles. I would love to have a CLS and would keep it.I just can`t see why there is such a quick turn around.

Oversupply of CLS
Your price range is not correct. These cars are selling for high 60's to mid 80's depending on equipment. As for there being an oversupply of these vehicles I do not agree, please take a look at other vehicles and you will see that there is a normal amount of these vehicles available compared to other makes and models. As for the reason for people selling with so few miles, I can only say that they are most likely for varied reasons.

What I was meaning to say in the original post , you can get a CLS for $59000 and they go up to the $100 000 and over but still you can get a CLs in the 60`s look at cars . com and you will see for yourselfs if you like. I am just suprised that there are soo many of them not a huge amount but alot of them out there for the price tag. Sorry for the confussions guys.

When you actually try to buy one you may find that when you get into the details there isnt really so many for a population of 250 million people.

If there were 250 online that's still one in a million.

Don't worry, I'm not battling you... That dealer is either stupid or trying to sell a repainted cls.. Why would he not take it to the auction and get 62. Instead he would rather deal with some crazy *** retail customer that has to get a loan on it and take 3 thousand less??

I think for 59k something is wrong, but CLS are not dropping much yet..
No battle..

I guess this is why the car is at its price and this car is in Cali.

Dealers in CA are selling non 55, non sport packages for under or at invoice if you go to the right place....we have like 15 dealers in the LA/OC area alone. My friend just bought a fully loaded black on black Sport CLS for under 70K out the door with an AMG wing included and I could have done better. I got my new SL for over 25k off...took me many trips to many different dealers though.

Came back from a service B yesterday on my slk350 during my wait I asked for prices and availability of a new CLS320cdi, there are 210 unsold on the mbuk network with about 20 that fit my spec, this does not give me confidence that the car will hold its price in years to come, although it would be nice to walk out the door with a car after waiting years for my slks.

If you don't mind me asking where did you get your SL. I have a CLS but would love to add an SL to the fleet. You got the best deal I have seen. Was this an 05?
