when I purchased my motor from the MB dealer he Informed me because I opted for the AMG Factory fit body kit ,Air Ride & 19" AMG Alloys -it was impossible to make the ACL system work . Does anybody know if it is a computer based adjustment required ?

MBUSA CLS: When the Lighting Package (Bi-Xenon with active curve illumination, heated headlamp washers, corner-illuminating front fog lamps) is ordered in combination with the AMG Sport Package the corner-illuminating fog lamps feature is eliminated. I believe this has to do with the physical characteristics/restrictions of the AMG bumper as compared to the standard CLS bumper. Therefore it is my assumption that activation is not possible.

I have asked the local Mb dealer about adjustment etc & they advise they cant do anything with it ! Think I will keep at them & ask them to dig deeper & possible modify it when it goes in for it's first service.

So basically I need to get the system re-tuned at MB dealer ? I already asked the question and they said no can do [Or is it they could not be bothered] Mhhhh I will give them a rattle agin .

that feature CAN be enabled with a star system. The reason they disabled it for AMG package cars is because the fog lamps do not reflect enough light to the sides.

Partly because of the bumpers design and the projection of the light onto the road from the fog light.

that explain why, we also got a Csport and the garage delivered the car with this option.
we took it off after because we were always stop by the police saying one of your fog ligh doesn't work... and in france you get a ticket if you put your fog light ont in a city.

That's why I never didit on my cls and it was delivered without it. (AMG package)
