Looks pretty, dare I say it even better looking them the CLS.

I've always thought the CLS looked odd, especially the front, the VW is a lot better intergrated design IMO.

Maybe Mercedes should hire the VW designer he copied and improved upon the (so called) original. Calling the CLS an original idea and other copycats is also a little misleading, MB has resurected an old idea which hasn't been used for a while. The Rover P5 Coupe is one previous example.

what so special about this car, looks like an ordinary 'chrysler sebring' sedan. Also resembles passat.

LOL....either way I agree that its better looking then most VW's but the CLS has more presence mostly due to the fact that its a MB. Also the rear lights seem huge/odd/ugly on the that thing....or maybe its just that VW logo that makes me uneasy. I bet the back seats have more room then the CLS though even with the comparable wood center console.

VW may overprice it. Remember the Phaeton or whatever.

No the CLS would love to look as good as the Passat CC, VW has really showen how clumsy looking the CLS design is, it's the ugliest car MB make, I'd take the VW with its better build quality and looks over a CLS any day.
