All,
i don't know if this is only me whose having all kind of problems with his car but it seems like the car have a serious quality issues. i am gonna mention all the problems that i faced with my cls350 2006 ( put in mind that i usually work from 7 to 4 and i only use the car at night time ) I did around 45000 km until now.

1- Key less go ( replaced two times )
2- central speaker ( changed )
3- two circle part that makes the engine belt move ( dunno what is called in English but this thing have been changed twice because of dust. u will hear a little bit noise coming out of the engine)
4- hydraulic system (AIRMATIC one time )
5- one time I started my car and try to change the gear from P to D and it didn't move ! when i took here to the agency they told me they have replaced something which they said like the gear brain !!!!
6- fuel tank was leaking . u can smell the fuel inside the car !!
7- AC Dashboard ( the ac goes low and high from it self with out changing the air setting )
8- small light needed to be tighten up as it goes on and off inside the car ( the smoking extinguisher light )
and if that wasn't enough lately i have been facing problems with my turning signal ! whenever i turn it to go right the turning signal turn left ( as i want to go left instead of right ) and was pissed of cuz this is very serious and the problem is it doesn't happen all the time i called the agency and i explained to them but i don't know if it would act like this in the agency also !!! me and my friend were shocked i was like look look turning right ( the left light turn on WTF ).

i am sure that there are more to tell but i don't remember what else happened
to much to tell .

but is this is normal with all new cars . i used to drive two Mercedes cars in the past both of them were used but i didn't face any problem with them

You have a LEMON. Get a new car, demand it like he mentioned on last post.

 

Damm man thats a LEMON!!!! i would def fight that one!

 

Roll the dice and hope the keyless go does it one more time, and then you got the lemon law in full effect and you should have no problem getting a brand new one, but that sucks, hope the outcome is good!!!

 

I hope you guys have LEMON law in Kuwait.

 

i don't believe i have ever heard a guy returning his car because it was a LEMON they always change stuff but never heard that they change the car. but i am really thinking of not having another Mercedes if that is the situation with the other cars.
imaging how many times i end up with renting another car and waitting until i get that car back again. the problem is the turning light signal. this is to serious to be ignored i am going to the agency this weekend and i will see what would they say about all that.

Definately something amis with this particular car. I would say the CLS model as a whole is good. I have a 2006 and a 2008 CLS and have had not a single problem.

My father did it. Returned his CLS500 (lease in NJ) and replaced it with an S550.
Point is, the dealer at first said they couldn't do it. He was persistant and filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau (BBB may only be in U.S.) against the dealer. After he *****ed enough, they replaced the car.
He had less wrong with his cls than your list.

 

Perhaps a better title for this thread is MY CLS has serious quality problems since I have not had one single issue related to the car.

in witch branch where you? shuwaikh or al-rai and who is the serviceadvisor, this is important for me to know.

Revouven036: actually i just send over my car again !!!!! to the shuwaikh agency. and the problems as follow:

1- engin sign came up and the car started to shake. this thing happen yesterday and i was planing to take it today to the agency but i couldn't start the engin!!!!! so i called the agency to get my car towed.

2- my back door keyless go also have a problem i am calling tomorrow to talk to a guy called hussain regarding these two problems



i will send over my car plate number but you can take a look at the car tomorrow in shuwaikh branch if your interested.
