AMG exhaust on CLS500

Hello guys, I just bought for my CLS500 AMG mufflers. I didn't install them yet. but I want to ask if any one know how to make the sound louder? I think there is something I can remove it so the sound comes louder but I don't know what to remove exactly? Any one know?

x-pipe, H-pipe, or streight pipe have nothing to do with power, they emit slightly different sounds and slightly at best.

Does the 500 even have resonators to remove?

the way the cars are set up you will lose bottom end power when you remove the resonators.

yes the cls' resonators are removable. i have the whole custom catback system made for my car. i am running straight pipe and need mufflers and tips and everything. the over all diameter of the pipes are larger. sorry for crappy grammar, i just woke up~ i don't recon straight pipe if you don't want it too loud~ i love it loud so i went for straight pipe. i lost a bit of torque, but in the end high, its pretty awesome.

just go to a muffler shop. i recommend going to a shop that has experience with high end cars. it will def be more expensive, but at least you won't have to worry.

I really dont think that you will lose any power, but i think it will change the powerband around a bit.

What do you mean "the way the cars are set up"?
I Dyno'd before and after res-removal and there was absolutely no difference.

The car sound super mean now though (It's a 63 but should see similar results).

TREZ63 i have not done it yet to my car. but i have been reading from all posts on here. some say you do lose power on the bottom end, some say you dont, truthfully i think it just changes your power band around. i dont think you gain anything by it, besides an amazing sound. there is alot of talk on here about the loss, or the gain but there hasnt been any dyno #s or posts from anyone to prove or disprove what really happends.

If I remove the resonator and install X-pipe with the rear AMG mufflers the sound will be very loud? or just a bit louder from just AMG mufflers with the resonator on?

My understanding is that x-pipe/ h-pipe mods are basically used to balance the exhaust flow/pulses between pipes. The most noticeable difference will be in the quality of sound from the exhaust but power changes should be minimal and most likely not noticeable. I had h-pipes on both my Corvettes and the exhaust tone was very tuned, deep and throaty when "on it" but very mellow and low when cruising with Billy Boat PRT Mufflers... The location of the x-pipe / h-pipe in the exhaust system can be critical so that's why it's best to use a shop that has experience with installing them.
