LORINSER FENDERS INSTALLED
Whats up guys. Lorinser fenders are finally painted and on the car. I know that we have mixed reviews on the fenders but I love the new look. The car was turning allot of heads on the way home. The fenders needed work before installation. Allot of sanding, etc. I rate the quality 7 out of 10. But, after the hard work on these things I am very satisfied with the aggessive look of the car.
Sorry to say but I don't like them at all. It doesn't look as clean as before. There is way too big of a gap between the bottom of the fender and the side skirt. Same with the door. I'm pretty sure all the looks you were getting were just because of the fenders.

Thats cool
There is a gap between door and fender, but the bottom of fender is not a gap, but a rubber seal, which is visable on all CLS's. Trust me, i noticed the difference between the new fenders and the factory fenders right away, but I think I can ignore it for now and enjoy the new look.
The seal on the bottom of the front fender stands out more on white CLS's. If the car was a dark color we would not notice these things in the pics. The car turns heads even without fenders because the body kit is a rear sighting where I live.

I'm actually surprised at how well the look of this fender blends with the car. While this kind of look isn't my cup of tea, it does look pretty good.
Does anyone know if we'll be able to put the new '09 grille on '06-'08 models?

I agree, that would match up better with the black roof etc.
I know the fenders are not perfect, but for some reason I just really like them. The fenders were easy to bolt on, so I always have the option to go back to my factory look, but I think I will sport these for a while.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it will work, and I might be the first to try. I'm sure Mercedes will tell you it wont fit when you try to buy it. I bought the new clear headlights for my ML430 years ago, and they told me that they would not fit. Ha, fit like a glove.

Dont get all upset... from your first post to this one you seem to loose your excitment about your new fenders.... they look good.. it takes a brave man to do any asthetic modding.. like picking out clothing, theres going to be someone, somewhere that dosent like your shirt.... wear it with pride... lol

Thank u Tune, you make a good point. I am still very exited about them. Thank u for that great comment.
Na, i like it just the way you have it
.... Fenders, wheels and all... i'd go all white face on the wheels with the chrome barrel if you were going to change anything....

I do agree with going to the black LSR's or white. I think that would look really good. White on white is a PITA to keep clean but by looking at your ride I know you stay on top of it so it shouldn't be a problem. Just something to think about.
Yep.. Khelawanb..
It looks good for a show car as yours is.. i can't say if i like it better before or not.. I do agree that the black LSR's will tie everything together nicely.. keep on being a trendsetter bro !!!
