2011 cls spotted with little disguise

All the spy shots before have featured a very heavily disguised prototypes.

This time a less disguised prototype has been spotted in Germany.

Nice find.

I think the headlights will be nice, not sure of the tail lights, they kinda flow "upstream"

Of course it will probably grow on me in 6mo to a year.

Oh god. Looks like they screwed up the tails on the CLS just like the W212.

The front looks alright so far.
I kind of like what they've done with the mirrors.
But I'm glad to see it kept a similar shape as it's predecessor.

The darn tailights look more VW CC like, it was supposed to be the other way around. CC copied the CLS, the CLS should keep putting out the new stuff. The tails just remind me quite a bit of today's CC.

man mb designs are getting reallly boring..i meant its a decent car..but this pretty much looks like the w212 and c class front ends..and doesn't have the umpth appeal..just looks plain..maybe i might have change of heart when i see it fully undisguised.

The big question is--are they now building it on the S platform or still on the E ??? That would make a huge difference.

But why would they do that? Isn't the CL built on the S platfrom still?

Like the car, but HATE the mirrors, this will go back to the days of my friends Acura CL.... i think it's a challenge to see out of our cars to begin with (and that is the beauty) but the mirrors will make life little tougher.... IMHO...

the mirrors on the 06 were the best for that car, these ones look like dopey ears. I dont like the rims and i dont know what to make of the tail lights or the headlights just yet.
Why change something that looked so good in 06?!

looks like they went the Lexus route of the big mirrors mounted on the doors.
