06 CLS55 navigation/COMAND update?

06 CLS55 navigation/COMAND update?
Does anyone know if the 2006 CLS55's navigation or COMAND console can be updated? I live in NYC but for some reason, my navigation sometimes thinks I'm in another part of the state (sometimes even other states closeby). Most of the time its because the weather is bad (rain/snow) but even my TomTom doesn't mess up so bad and bad weather is definitely not good enough of an excuse for the navigation to say I'm in upstate NY when I'm 100 miles away. Also, I hate how the navigation can't be programmed to go to specific places. Really annoying.. if there is an update to the system, does it fix this?

My navigation is the same on my cls55. My car came from Ga. and it's now in Pa. so when it displays town choices, most are in Georgia.
After a year, it seems to be learning Pa. locations.
You also might have a 2006 navigation cd. A newer one came out in 2008.
I think I also reset and deleted the memory. That might have helped.
Navigation still sucks tho

You can use the POI's for certain places. I would suggest to make sure you have the latest nav DVD, the older one's will drive you nuts. I am using v.8 and I just have to break down and get 10.0.
Go to Navteq...
Nav still sucks to some degree in the older (06) MB's. The newer one is much better.

I upgraded to the new disc it was a burnt copy not too much difference jus more Coverage all new construction is available......i thought it would be 2D or 3D..
