I've been getting frustrated because every time I type an address number, it will only let me select a range instead of an exact address number. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do I just need to read the manual or does anyone have a quick tip?

What version of Nav DVD do you have?

I had a 2008 in mine when I bought it and it did the same thing for my home address. I upgraded to a 2012.2 disc and I could select my house number exactly. I've bought the 2013 DVD, just cause is newer. <G> I think it just all depends on how much detail your version of the DVD has for that particular area.

I would like to know, are there any difference between version 2008 and 2013 about the design? I mean does it look better?
I also have software from 2008 but thinking to upgrade.

I just upgraded from stock (not sure what edition it was but I assume MY09s have '08 data) to 2013 and there is no change in appearance. It's just the data.

I have orignal disc from 2008 way outdated. I want to get best one out there.

Bad news, itis not the Navigation CD. It is the COMAND NTG version. The CD update provides current roads and newer addresses, but the comand for the 06-07 CLS is different than 08 and up. I struggle with this issue and jumped ship, replaced the stereo head for an Alpine with all features.

BTW, the Comand software cannot be upgraded unless you replaced all the components. Cost about as much as doing an aftermarket replacement.

So, '06 & '07 Nav system cannot load the 2013 Disc?

As I understand it so Comand NTG 1.0 is for CLS from 2006-2008 and Comand NTG 2.5 is from CLS 2009-?
And both NTG 1.0 & 2,5 can be updated to software 2012/2013 but the design of the software is only change in Comand NTG 2.5.
Comand NTG 2.5 have hard drive on 40GB but Comand NTG 1.0 doesn't have.

To upgrade the software to 2012-2013 man have to buy the disk in a mercedes dealer or in eBay.

my navigation in my CLS 550 08 just stop working does anyone know around how much to replace or fix the problem I called the dealer they said it could be around 4,000 dollars. can anyone give me some advice.

Just buy a unit who called Dynavin, it's cheaper it's like €1.000,- :-)

Yeah maybe it's would be a better idea, but I don't know how to make a diagnostic test. :-)
Did you tried to take the disc out and put it in again, don't know if it's helping.

I had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute. I also need a wheel alignment pulling a little to the right and a driver side hi beam light. This car had been giving me a headache lately SMH

My car also gives me headaches, its "shaking" sometimes when I accelerate, it's something to do with the EGR valve. I must clean it, but don't know were the vacuum hose is. :-(
