All CLS owners with tinted windows. Please look at this pic
2 weeks after a new tint and I'm seeing this through my review. It's no better at night. It has an orange peel/ wavy look to it when examining up close. The tint shop is saying it's because the angle of the glass
It looks amazing from the outside with no bubbles, but the issue is seeing out through the review or naked eye.

Yes, and the sides look amazing. They used solar guard which has been used on 3 of our previous benz cars, infiniti, etc.. I'm thinking a bad roll, because the tint guy spoke to me in some detail and said' "we use a different roll for the larger windows than we do for the sides"

I had mine done at a highly recommended shop and mine has a similar issue to what you describe. Let me know if they are able to fix it since the shop I went to guarantees their work for life.
BTW, I thought it had more to do with the defroster lines breaking up the flat glass surface.

I think it needs more time to dry.I had same problem for a few weeks after i tinted CLS,now its fine.Give it more time...

I just left the tint shop and they are thinking that it may be the brand of paper/film that they are using, so they are going to order another brand besides the “solar guard” that they normally use to see it that helps, but it will take some time. In the meanwhile, it will have more time to dry. thanks

UPDATE:
Just got it back!They stripped the old tint and replaced it with a solar guard brand that did not contain any "metal or metalized material" Looks 100% better and it's still in the drying/curing process. A little water left over. I'll "edit" and insert another pic after the weekend to show the results after 3-5 days of curing.
