Four new 2019 CLS450's coming plus 53
AS of early Oct I dont know the MSRP.... so the prices are not here, but here are the cars..Im not sure late Oct/Nov delivery.. I did drive the 19 CLS450 yesterday and am WAY more excited about the new car that I thought..the engine (inline 6 cylinder..not a V6.. is smoooooth and powerful and the eq boost makes no turbo lag). All these are 4 matic all wheel drive for handling and bad weather

CLS 450 2019
Totaled my 14 CLS550 last week. Now I am forced to get a car quickly. I am seeing some regular 450s show up in Atlanta. After looking online at some videos I would rather consider the CLS53. Any word on pricing and if there are some that are part of the backlog at port? I am willing to fly wherever to pick up the car.

the base is roughly 79k on the AMG. i have one that just finished production at 89k msrp. hoping it gets released from port when it hits the US in late November, but it could be later in December. I don't think anyone has the AMG in the US yet.

Hideous US spec bumper step. Must see in person to truly understand how hideous this appendage is. Wow. And I’m a huge CLS fan. Not here.
Elegant Euro design as intended.
Saw it in person today. Beautiful car but why, why, why does the US spec get an ugly rear bumper growth?? Terrible design. Didn’t mercedes learn when the C coupe had the same hideous design element? And please don’t tell me it’s some US required nonsense with our plates. I’m starting to think BMW is a better maker, if too conservative in design. Help me understand who thinks this looks good. It’s a bumper step from a Ford F-150. Seriously! Otherwise a pretty car. Still prefer 2006 original.

I totally agree with you - I try not to look at it and at one time it was a deal breaker. Mercedes should have done better than this - the S class coupe has a tasteful solution but in that price point it should

The bumper step looks even more odd with the quad tailpipe appendages. Come on Mercedes designers. I’ve drooled over this car since gen 1, but questioning the last two redesigns. Gorgeous car but can we order without that hump step? Hoping the 2020 GLS gets a proper redesign. Having owned 2 of them, I’m excited about the new interior on the GLE that will likely make its way to the GLS.

It's official - that bumper addition is like a giant hemorrhoid on MichelAngelo's David. Nonetheless - it's a blemish i'll have to live with.
I switched from a BMW 650 gran coupe (my lease is up next month) to the AMG CLS 53. Time will tell if it was the right choice. I couldn't stick with BMW when they re-marketed the 6 series as an 8 series and upped the price by 20 to 30k. The 850 is a gorgeous beast, but it's not that much nicer than the 6 it replaces.
Other than the bumper disaster, I think Benz has BMW beat on styling interior and exterior with the new AMG 53

Just got out of my lease on a 2015 s550 4matic and picked up a brand new cls 450 4matic today. MSRP was about 83k. Just wanted to know what lease deals others are getting.... I feel like I reached a pretty solid deal.
