Has anyone been able to rewire Fogs to be auto

Anyone know how to get fogs to automatically turn on when the headlights are set to auto? I find myself leaving the lights on from time to time, since the car warning always beeps anyways b/c of the keyless go.

Sorry, I only use my fogs when it's foggy... I hope you're not one of those people driving around with the rear fog lit all the time! lol

I bought a set of H7 led bulbs, and wired my fogs to function like daytime running lights. They come on as soon as I start the car.

I assume you just wired the power for the fogs to something that powers up soon as the ignition is on as opposed to when the headlights are triggered?

Did you have to access the rear of the light switch to do this? If so any help on how to do it?

Thanks

I got mine done at my tuners (ASR) They put in the dual fogs with HID's in front and they come on with the headlights on auto. Check out the pictures on this previous thread:

Exactly

I took power from a led power source in connection with my custom stereo. I think my installer got that power source from the cigarrete lighter. Not sure though. My tech at the dealer also told me that there is a little cap covering a positive power source in the fuse box located near the motor. It's located near the top left of all the fuses. Its covered by a black cap, so you might not see it right away.

Looks nice, do you know how the wiring was actually accomplished?
