New GT S Owner!

Hi guys,

I've been a member here for a while and finally pulled the trigger on the AMG GT S. Will probably be trading in my C63 S once it arrives. Drove the car and couldn't fall asleep that night haha. Ended up going with Designo Magno Selenite Grey. Now the hard part begins which is the wait but i'll be stacking up mods to help with that!

Definitely going with HRE but am stuck between S104 and S107. Probably go with a brushed bronze but finish is still up in the air. What do you guys think between those 2 wheels?

KWV3 is a given as well.

Considering the fact that this is an GTS forum it would be much easier (and good marketing) if these guys selling wheels would actually specify the wheels that work with our cars. For me that's a real deterant in looking through the abundance of wheels not knowing which are actually a fit for a GTS. Does anyone know which of the HRE wheels work for the GTS?

Congrats on the purchase. I will be doing this myself soon. Same color. What other options did you pick? Post some pics when it gets here.
Tough call on the wheels. Both will look great on the car. I am sure both can be made to fit the car.

I don't think there is V3 version of the KW yet and that would also eliminate the best type of shocks in the business = magnetorheological.

I see that based on this post and your last post on our other thread as well that you're having some difficulty, so allow me to help, and feel free to send me a message directly next time so that I can make sure that you're pointed in the right direction.

Finding wheels applicable for your vehicle is extremely easy on our website. Click our link here - http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/forged - and you can filter your results by diameter or construction, and there's also a "Filter by Vehicle" tab where you can enter Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT/GTS. Once it's filtered, all your results will be shown.

If you continue to have difficulty, please reach out to me directly so I can be sure that you're taken care of. - Thank you.

I prefer the stock titanium wheels. And why would you change shocks on this car?

Simply said, 95% of HRE's wheels are applicable for your AMG GT-S. HRE specializes in customer forged wheels meaning they are manufactured to fit each customer's model specific vehicle. By my count, there are about 4 out of 60+ models that aren't built for your car's specifications.

I did this filter by vehicle and it worked, but it was a let down. No specs were shown: widths, offsets, weight, etc.

That's because all of our Forged wheels are 100% custom built to order so it wouldn't be like a company who has pre-built wheel sizes ready to ship out immediately that has their posted offsets and sizes ready to go (For example our FlowForm series is pre-manufactured, so the offsets are public information). Because Forged are machined to order, we can literally build to your exact specifications if you require, and we have been doing this for nearly 40 years now.

If you need weights for specific sizes, just request it here, I'll post them up for you when you're ready.

I did you one better and listed every fitment that has been machined for the GTS - so all of these fitments will be applicable to your vehicle. Keep in mind though, the weights you see below are indeed weights we have recorded, but weights are technically approximate because depending on your offset/backspacing (size of backpad) they might change per application.

HRE P101
19x9 - 18.80lbs
19x9.5 - 22.50lbs*
20x9 - 20.20lbs
20x9.5 - 20.50lbs
20x11 - 22.00lbs
20x11.5 - 22.40lbs
20x12 - 23.50lbs
21x11.5 - 24.00lbs
21x12 - 24.80lbs

* Wheel that we have weighed here is a very low offset, therefore the weight will be skewed to be heavier because of it. Of course you can see that the weights are very linear, so technically we should be looking at a weight over 18.80lbs but under 20.20lbs for a 19x9.5 (of course, an approximation).

Hope that helps out!
