What made you want it gone? (Potentially thinking about picking one up...)

Nothing but problems, reliability issues. I have posted extensive detailed list of problems on other threads here. For starters the car had to be towed back to the dealership the day I took delivery and with me putting less than 20 miles on the car....and it was all downhill from there.

jrcart thank-you for sharing as your post

provides some comfort to the fact that I

do not fit

While at the dealer I tried to sit/fit in a

GT S on the showroom floor

At 6'9" with about a 44" inseam I made

it into the cabin but would not have been

able to drive

Hence it is no longer on my list

Thank-You
D.B.

With legs and a torso that long, what car(s) do you fit comfortably in?

Would you mind sharing how the install went and how many hours they spent.

I did downpipes on my CLS and it was pretty easy. Eurocharged says that you have to drop the transmission and the torque tube to get the OEM pipes out.

They claim the only other way is to cut the OEM pipes and I am not really inclined to do such a massive venture as I cannot revert back to stock and this will limit the resale value.

Not many

My 740iL with the chauffeur clip removed

gives about 2" extra

All other rides I take the seats and frames

out and remount so I am flush with the

front edge of the rear seat

This may include the cutting and re-welding

of the frame to fit the contour of the floor

In the early 70's a girl asked me to drive her

VW bug from Sun Valley to Olympic Valley

as she had broken her leg and was flying home

I took the drivers seat out and drove from the

backseat

And on the subject of TALL

Why is it that it is socially acceptable to ask

a tall person how tall they are

I hear that 3 to 5 times a day

also - I bet you are a basketball player -

3 to 5 times a day

Yet it is rude to ask a short person how short

they are or ask a fat person how much they weigh

Oh but it must be great to be tall - huh

There is not a great selection of size 16 shoes

and finding pants long enough is work

It is easier to shorten pants than to make them longer

The grass is always greener

Thank-You
D.B.
