Unless otherwise stated, some Weistec Engineering performance upgrades are sold for race car use only.
Does Weistec offer free ECU re-flash if the unit is reset at the dealer during service? I only ask because this is offer by Renntech according to their website at no additional charge, "Customers who purchase an ECU upgrade and have the unit updated during a factory service will be eligible to have their vehicle reflashed by RENNtech or their authorized RENNtech dealer with a new tuning file based on the latest update currently installed in their vehicle. These updates are provided at no additional charge though the customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from our facilities."
If I do purchase the ECU tune I want to make sure I am covered if it get reset by the dealer for whatever reason. Also wondering is their a way to check if my ECU does get reset by the dealer ?
Also wondering how long is the turn around time for the ECU flash?
Do you have "tuned" HP output for the GT version? I can see the GTS from 480WHP to 535WHP, wonder what the gain for the GT.
Correct me if I'm wrong but outside of the active engine mounts, the GT's internals are the same as the GTS's which means they would net the same results from a tune.

Yes. Only difference in powertrain stock is electronic differential on GTS mechanical on GT.
And it's really more of a torque gain. Some 100ft/pounds at wheels.

So... what makes the GT 45hp less? Say the C63 v C63 S, (probably more members with experience on the C) just wonder if the GTS or the C63 S have diff engine components v the C63 and GT.

GT gets dry sump oil and DCT tranny. C class has a mct which is a lot different getting power down.
