AMG GT C Edition 50: any info on release date and price?

S63 , AMG GTC '18
AMG GT C Edition 50: any info on release date and price?
The convertible version is already for sale, but the Coupe GT C isn't even available in the configurator. All I could find is that it's going to be released as a limited "Edition 50" to celebrate AMG's anniversary (which is this year) but they'll release the car... next year? Sounds like a belated birthday gift ..

AMG-GTC coupe
I'm seriously considering buying a GTC coupe in silver so I may keep my NC personal license plate and selling my C63. I'd like to know prices and availability but it will probably be a 2018 model when MB will be exiting the 50th anniversary editions. Guess I'll just have to keep watching all over the web to get an order in. I can't wait for it to be here now!!

the roadster is $180+

Yes, the standard GTC Roadster's price and specs are known and already on the market, the information that is missing is the price for the Edition 50 models which are supposedly a limited series.

STD GTC is $160ish. The edition 50 is $180+, I've already had an allocation from a dealer that was provided to me (with small premium).

Can you provide any link to that information? AMGs German website doesn't even show the GTC (except for the Roadster).

I don't have a link, but I believe all these cars have been allocated already in the US. Only top tier dealers get them and they are offered to multiple purchase clients.

AMG-GTC coupe wanted
The price I don't mind, the 50th version is not necessary as I'd like to drive the car and also do track events with it. The yellow color is not worth the $10k premium as a vinyl wrap will work just as well for a lot less which also saves the OE paint when removed later!

How much work would it take to upgrade an S to the C specs....if they can be located ?

Not sure how you'd go about to do it, since the rear of the C is as wide as the GTR.
