Dime Racing Carbon Fiber Engine Parts Release
Here at Dime Racing, we have been hard at work to develop aerospace level carbon fiber components for street applications. Utilizing the same technology you see in aerospace and formula one, we have developed many items for the AMG GT.
Many AMG GT customers have common complaints. Why is the engine bay so bare compared to the SLS and why isn't there any factory carbon options for the engine bay.
We have developed a simple asthetic upgrade to the engine bay by producing a carbon fiber engine cover, and airboxes. These are factory replacements that are very simple to install and give the engine bay a great look.
Priced at $999.00 for the Carbon Fiber Engine Cover, and $1,199.00 for the Carbon Fiber Airboxes, this gives the amazing M178 engine the look it deserves!
We would be happy to assist with any technical questions here on the forum or via email at tech@dimerd.com.
Thank you!

As an aside, kind of odd that we aren't actually covering the engine. It's as if the engine is playing peek-a-boo.
Can the 'real' aluminum engine cover also be replaced with CF...or at least better integrated somehow with this? Maybe that's just too much of a good thing and best left isolated....dunno.

I would love to replace the internal brace thats behind the seats by the parcel shelf.
Wish i specced the carbon version, but i cheaped out.
Thinking was that anything behind my head, or under the bonnet added little visual value ...... how little did i know

The AMG GT parts are simple replacements. Heat dissipation is negligible.
