Anyone figure out the cargo area rattle?
Mine is also from the left, more of a rapid ticking kind of noise. I'm pretty sure I've done a partial fix so far by wrapping every bit of wire and taping around the leading edge of the plastic hatch liner where it contacts the body but I still get a noise from time to time.
I also have a lovely buzzing noise from inside the centre dash area when I drive over coarse road surfaces.
Away for a few weeks, so job for when I'm back.
Something I've noticed that bothers me is that the panel gap between the hatch and the bumper is quite wide. The adjuster/strike plate behind the hatch liner was already at full retraction, I'm not sure if the lock part itself can be adjusted (maybe someone knows?) I've noticed pics of cars show a similar gap but others seem to be quite tight. Makes me wonder if this might have something to do with it all? Maybe the hatch doesn't compress the rubber seal enough?

Gaps look good on my car though.

The dealer also fixed a creaking sound under the car in the area of the engine placement. This too was successfully diagnosed and repaired. The issue was with a crossmember and I had the sense that M-B/AMG was aware of the problem. It was not related to a small recall related to the torque tube, I believe.
Adjusted bump stops on hatch (solved the original loud rattling)
Lined the plastic hatch parts where they touch metal/paint with Tessa felt tape.
Wrapped exposed cables in the hatch itself and the fuse box area with fabric wire wrapping tape.
Wrapped and re-seated a pipe which sits inside the metalwork of the hatch. I'm not sure what purpose this serves.
Pressed a few plastic cable trays into their proper positions
Replaced the bump stop paint protection film with 3M helicopter tape
Added Velcro HD felt side pads on top of helicopter tape
Replaced left bump stop with new. (A190 750 00 00)

My GTC has one or two very minor rattles coming from the rear hatch area. They are minor, and only noticeable on certain bumps. My AMG service tech is looking at the hatch adjustment now. Hopefully the fix is in one or more of the items you mentioned above.
Is it too much to expect that a $200K car is rattle free? It’s totally awesome otherwise!

I noticed each spring can be adjusted. Does anyone know what the adjustment does exactly?

I don’t see a metal pipe anywhere. Did you remove the plastic trim of the hatch? Or are you referring to the metal tow bar?

With the hood closest push up and down on the corners, at the base of the windshield. Check for play. I had play on one side. Chirping rattle went away when dealer replaced hinge.
