If anyone has/knows of a set of the Titanium OEM wheels from a GT R that are for sale, please shoot me a PM as I'm looking for track wheels.

That's a great idea ... do you happen to know if titanium wheels can be painted or powder coated?

Also do we know what the GTR wheel offsets are?
I know the wheels are 10x19" and 12x20" so if we can get the offsets we can also look for aftermarket wheels for the track.

I’m sure they can be powder coated Soulsea.
The other option I’m waiting for is to see what wheels Tirerack have for the car. If they eventually offer a light but strong wheel like an OZ, I’ll put the R03 tyres on those for track purposes, and keep my OEM titanium wheels for the street and mount either the non-ZP version MPSC2 or perhaps even better, the PS4 if it’s produced in the correct sizing.

Hey there gents...Y'all realize that the GTR wheels are not made of titanium right? ...at least not that I know of. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

D, any thought to going down 1" on both wheels and slapping on a set of R7s?
Don't know if the available sizes for those tires and wheel combo would retain the current circumference.

I’d love to do that S, but it might still be early days to find a set of 19”s with the correct offset, etc. Also I tend to drive to a couple of the nearest tracks instead of trailering the car, so in that regard the 19”/20” OEM MPSC2 ZP tyres are perfect, in that they are ‘streetable’. I’d still like to see what an OZ Ultraleggera wheel looks like on the car with the R03 tyres. They are light and strong, plus very reasonably priced.Originally Posted by soulsea

One thing for sure though: a set of custom 19” wheels with R7s installed will be a wicked combo on track.

Got it. People asking if they can be powdercoated threw me off. They are regular forged aluminum wheels. ...of course they can be powdercoated. 🤓Originally Posted by thebishman
