Looking for CEL issues on AMG V8 4.0 models
Hi there
Following some reports of sticky CEL issues on the E63s W213 I am trying to find out if this happens on other models using this engine.

Solarbeam Yellow 2016 AMG GTS
Not so far with 5k miles on a 2016 GTS. What are the typical issues related to the CELs? CELs are set for many many reasons. You will have to be more specific for this thread to be meaningful. Do they have tunes? What year/version, etc.

the CEL issue seems associated with cylinder misfires. it seems to be happening on the new E63S and S63. the new (2017MY-) 4.0 V8 engines.
you're right on the tunes and other stuff but was hoping to keep this simple and just get a general count of people that have had this.

Things are fine here... 
LOL none on my GTS from 2015, none on my C63S that is now sold and none on the E63S.... I have had three variants of the M17X engine, please remember that the GTS is M178 due to dry sump but that has nothing to do with the electronics.

1997 SL600, 2017 AMG GTS
I had a CEL for misfires in two cylinders. The first time at the dealer, they found nothing, cleared the code and told me to take it back if the CEL came back on.
A week later, when I took it back, they changed out two fuel injectors. No CEL since.
