H&R Springs
Here is my before and after shot with H&R springs installed. Even though I wouldn’t call it “Super Low”, these springs offer a nice drop and the ride is much tighter with less leaning overall and during cornering.
The only way way to go lower is coilovers which cost 4X the price. Good luck.

Curious us on your before and after rims. Were they powder coated? Ask as I am looking at buying a car with the rims from the first pic and want them black too.

No scraping as long as you drive the car correctly.
Yes - wheels were powder coated a custom dark grey satin finish.
H&R springs lower 1.2” all around. The beast feels much tighter with less noticeable flexing and body roll.

On RennTech coilovers---- only once over a speed bump, but I did not slow down enough. The car is so stiffly sprung so that if you can otherwise clear what you are driving over, you should not scrape if you take it easy.

did either of you guys do spacers as well or simply lowered the cars? Thought that when lowering the vehicle spacers were needed otherwise wheels would be heavily inset?

Roughly 1 hour on each coil
That’s what my shop said
whoever said 10hrs is either trying to scam you or they are just not experienced enough….

Hi,
Depends on the package.
Remove shock absorber and disassemble, mount springs. Reassemble the shock absorber and then install it. (Not to be underestimated, some interior panels have to be removed and reassembled at the back).
All that in 4 hours I see as very fast.
But that's only half the battle. Additional to that:
Adjusting / weighing all springs,
Correct vehicle toe and camber.
Check headlights and correct, if necessary.
Check the Distronic sensor and correct, if necessary.
If you want to do everything right, 10 hours is much closer.
Best regards
Stenzel
