The lack of brake dust alone makes these worthwhile and when buying used, you are paying pennies on the Dollar. Bish stated all what matters; watch the pads and the brakes easily last 60k miles of road use. MB states 100K miles. Do a search for the burnishing instructions...

If all you do is street drive the car you should never have to replace the rotors, and your wheels will stay nice and clean. Just make sure that you replace the brake pads when they get worn down close to 2mm-3mm and you’ll never damage the rotors. Use the Reverse Logic Lug Bolt extenders to ensure that when you take the wheels off/on you don’t damage the rotors either. If you experience any noises when slowing down/stopping the car with the CCMs all you need to do is ‘burnish’ the pads.

GOt them on my gtc and they are spotless clean. My 16 Maybach makes a huge mess i get to clean from brake dust.
I dont care what the cost is give me the ceramic brakes.
As far as performance driving. They are great for autocross, very strong and dont have any change in how they work as your racing.
I will say they take a bit getting used to. Very sensitive. I will get in the Maybach and its like a car with no power brakes when you push the pedal...........

I hope Vic posts in this thread because he knows more about this market than anyone else I know. Iirc the GTC Cabs weren’t selling that well and big discounts were being offered off of MSRP? ( I hope I haven’t gotten that confused with the Coupes).
Regardless lowball the crap out of the used GTC you’ve got your eye on as the MB CPO program is excellent.
Good luck,
Bish

It would be interesting if this is actually a new or used car. 1500 miles could be a demo, etc.
2018 models have fallen off the new car incentive schedule. This means even if new, no trunk money or any other sales incentives and the cars can't be leased via MBFS anymore. So the dealer probably punched the car to grab the incentives and sell it as used.
Original trunk money was $15k and if triple net, the discount would be $36-37k on a $180k car.
So that car should see more discount. Negotiate away
