Getting a GTR Black Series...

From late 2018...

And yes Ferrari to my knowledge does use the Rolex model, as in ADs aren't allowed to charge over msrp.

I circled back with him on your statements, and you are on point. They gave him a $700K price and I immediately went to a price point of $500K ish for it not realizing that the spider is coming in/around that $200K premium. That said, it is correct to say that he doesn't have any contractual commitments/restrictions in terms of resell or lighting it on fire once he owns it. The F8 is the same too hence my joy in grabbing his throw back when he's ready!

I have no idea to say the truth but it’s really just some bad news to me and wanted to share the news to listen from others who are waiting on there order.
I think what's happening with all these manufacturers is deceiving, as in just because there's delays it doesn't mean that they're not making the cars. My guess is that all the cars are still going to get produced in their allotted time frame and then they'll just sit waiting for chips.
Similar to this situation:
https://www.thedrive.com/news/40458/...-chip-shortage
I could be wrong but this would be the way to get them all in as 21MY and get them out of the factory for new gen retooling, but yet none of us will have them until they get the chips. Again, also keep in mind that MB is now shipping new cars to VPC without chips and they just sit there parked waiting for them.
This is all speculation of course but it seems to make sense and other manufacturers are doing the same thing. My Durango Hellcat has been built and sitting parked somewhere at the factory for over a month now, exactly the same as my BS.
I also saw on Youtube that there was a Magma Beam BS that was delivered to a customer in Hermosa Beach California.
If so that's not a delivery video. It's hard to tell what it is without seeing the plates but chances are it's like the one in FL that was filmed testing with manufacturer plates.
No BSs have been delivered to any customer in the US ... but I'd be suuuuuuuper happy to be wrong on this one.

The longer I am made to wait for it the more I do stupid things.
First the CLK BS, and now if it checks out, it looks like I'm buying a one owner 2500 mile 2012 SLS coupe tomorrow.

The one I really want next is a nice example SL65 BS ... if I got that I would be satisfied with my AMG collection.
The problem is that the market is so crazy right now ... I got really lucky with the CLK and the SLS is also a good deal that fell into my lap, but chasing cars right now is not the thing to do. So the only way the SL65 is going to happen is if again one happens to fall my way rather than me shopping for one in the open market.
