Well, if our cars are not on a ship by this week it is unlikely that we’ll see them in July even if vpc is cleared to release cars. Iirc it takes about three weeks for the ship to cross to the east coast, then a few days to go through vpc, and a few more days for shipping depending on hauler availability. My experience in the past has been to see an MB/Porsche about six week after the ship has left.

I am keeping the faith! It's possible. I'm sure August is more realistic, but that does suck for those of us with short northern driving seasons. Between getting it here and then PPF, a sometime-in-August delivery leaves 1-2 months tops to drive before the possibility of snow.

Kinda the same way they used to offer AMG Academy days.
It would almost exactly take a year to get every owner on it for a day.

I will drive it maybe, I have mileage anxiety hahaha. The Durango looks sick, and the AMG tender is a beast I need a Tirranna with six 450R's

looks like the Manthey Racing GT2RS just beat the AMG GT BS track record at Nurburgring. Not sure i agree with the GT2rs MR being a production vehicle, but the bar has been reset.

Iirc MR package is around $100k and wasn’t available as an option.
So it’s a modified production car as opposed to a stock one.
Plus the fact that you have to do all that just to be .3 seconds faster than the BS is actually more flattering to the BS than the 2RS.

Frankly, I think this reinforces how special the GT Black is. Out of the box and sets the fastest time.

Agreed. I think AMG is already planning for their next run in much better weather this time.
