Just heard from a friend who was trying to purchase one of the cars at the Newport Beach. He was told the asking price is now 596K for the Magmabeam they have on their floor currently. Absolutely insane.
what was it before?....they should just put it on BAT if they want stupid money. They probably figure the SLS BS is now worth north of $500k, so why not the new BS?

That's what he said. The guy that was supposed to purchase it said was told he needed to come up with 200k to be approved and decided it wasn't worth it.
When my friend talked to them earlier in the week or sometime last week they were asking 496k for one currently in production.

Another perspective to consider is that the dealer prequalified the buyer and determined they would only finance 1/2 the cost.
Of course the buyer could obtain his own financing through another source if he chose to go through with the deal.

I was invited to watch the PDI of this Demon at MB Silver Spring. Super impressive. The pics and vids do not do it justice. The rear wing, while massive, did not seem to overwhelm the car the way I thought it might from previous pictures. It is relatively quiet at idle.

I think they did mean $200k admin. BUT in financial terms, the market value or maximum lending value of the BS from a banking point of view would be very close to MSRP IF you have a 800+ credit score. So, the admin fee would have to be out of pocket or come from another source that wouldn’t lower your credit score.
Banks and lending institutions are not in the car sales business they are in the lending business and wan’t to be sure they mitigate their downside risk IF they have to take possesion of the “collateral.”
So is your Black still at the port in Germany or is it at the Brunswick VPC?

I have no idea, a couple of days ago it was in B60 now it just changed to this new code. I assume it’s still in Europe as I never got any codes that would indicate it being in transit to the US.
