GTS exhaust valves-soft limp

Hi guys,
the valves on the GTS have stopped functioning and it’s in a soft limp. Engine data shows max 362bhp. When scanned and cleared the following codes reappear
p1404
p13c2

its a 2016 so no warranty. It’s also mapped and tuner can’t delete codes. The valves are seized so we jammed the valves in open position and removed the spring underneath the actuator to see if we can clear the codes and trick the ecu in thinking everything’s ok....that hasn’t worked lol. I’ve messaged awe to see if their valve simulators will work in the GTS.
Anyone had this before? New exhaust needed?

Find a good independent, see if they can resurrect the valves, also scour car-parts.com for a wrecked car that still has the exhaust, the sell of the parts. our cars are more rare but I got a lot of parts there for my AMG E55.

I'm in Atlanta and we have a lot of good indy shops, I do most of my own work but when its something I can't do I take it to them.

That's absurd. I would definitely go aftermarket at this point, so you dont end up suffering the same fate with the form setup after replacement. Glad to have this information now, so I can prepare myself for that battle in the off chance I end up ever having the same issue.

I wonder if using an EVM and sticking the flaps in 100% open mode from here on out would guarantee that you never have to worry about this issue.

They don't seem to have the AMG GTS model in the Mercedes drop-down.

First of all with so many settings and servomotors to adjust things it is inevitable for them fail. So does that mean that the engine with the flaps closed only produces 300 some hps? I don't understand the reason for reduced hp.

ON turbo cars less back pressure in the exhaust results in more HP, as the hot side can spin faster, but this seems a bit silly to see a 200hp drop over flaps, its usually 20 - 30 hp unless an exhaust is ridiculously restrictive which ours aren't.
