I have been getting 15 mpg in mainly urban and semi-urban routes.

Most of the driving is in Individual mode (Comfort settings with Sport+ exhaust) but some lovely drives in S+ on sweeping A roads.
The car is fuelled with 99 RON Shell V-Power and has been recently serviced etc.

Does this sound about right?
Am I missing something?
What kind of fuel consumption do you typically get?

No clue. What are your expectations that the car seems to be going against?

As far as my experience, I've only hand calculated my mpg once in the 2 years that I've had the car, and it was around 20mpg while doing a 2 hour highway cruise in Comfort mode. The computer says I've averaged 16.1mpg over the last 4k miles.

That sounds about right...especially in Sport + where the shifts are always on the higher side and being held back for higher revs and optimal performance.

I only use mine for weekend cruises and spirited drives. Got 7-8mpg per the monitor those weekends in the GTC with race mode lol. Getting around 18mpg in the GTR as Im babying it till break-in in comfort mode.

Note: Our Brit friend uses Imperial gallons. So his MPG is closer to 17.5-18 in the U.S.

good point! I don't know why, but I'm struggling with the math - isn't it the other way around?

US gallon = 1
Imperial gallon = 1.2

if mileage is 15mpg (imperial)
Imperial gallon converted to equivalent US size: .83
15 * .83 = 12.45 mpg

I get less than 10 in city stop and go but can get 21 on long highway runs. If I get 12 in town I’m thrilled!

On the highway, my AMG GT S gave around 8.5 to 9 L/100km driving around 120 km/h. That's about 27 US MPG, or 32 UK MPG. I was pleasantly surprised by its efficiency compared to official fuel economy numbers.

In US gallons I get about 13 to 14 mpg so SpokenHands is not that bad. Either that or I am just as much of a lead-foot. 27mpg seems hard to believe.

The 27 US mpg was for mostly steady cruising on roads with low traffic. I also got similar fuel consumption on driving around 90 km/h on country roads that have the occasional stop sign or traffic light. For spirited driving accelerating and braking all the time while holding high RPMs, I'd get around 13 US mpg.

I've averaged around 17mpg over last 12 month, although a 100 miles motorway trip recently , with 50mph restrictions nearly all way saw 30mpg at end journey, who needs a hybrid.... 👍
