hey...what is your opinion on this? just a quick fun exercise build i did for GTS widebody...track style?

 

It's sick! How much did it cost?

 

It's hard to see the detail, due to the dark color, but from what I can tell it looks tastfully done, and not as over the top as something like the maxton kit.

 

i designed it myself! some 3d printed parts and waterjet cut parts...maybe i can sell as package hehe

 

For certain function i.e. racing it's fine. As an aesthetic enhancement it's hideous.

 

Great job man. It’s dark but you got the rake right on front fenders, almost like a Black series or factory setup. How did you setup rear diffuser?

Is this a real car with the Kit or a rendering ? The last two pics looks like renderings, would love to see the parts/build before they were on the car.

Honestly, if that second render were realized, I'd be VERY temped to buy the kit vs upgrading to another car. Would give me a LOT of longevity out of my GTS before feeling like I need to get into something else again. Would be even better if it could be fitted to a GTC, so I could get ventilated seats.

Assuming fit and finish are on par with the car it's going on, I'd be first in line to buy a kit. Dead serious, that kit matches the beastly nature of the car itself, while ditching the soft exterior MB gave it.

Edit: I also really like that the CF blades in the grill are not rounded out like the panamericana grill.

 

Im following someone on IG who is building this exact rendering. I love the progress so far. Cant wait for it to be completed.

Just make sure all vents are functional and not just for show.

 

Got those 3d printed parts and installed on my GTS! the grip with the new width is unbelievable added with aero bits. the actual kit itself (not this temporary one) is being made into production mold! here are some pics. enjoy!

 

That bit about a production mold has me very excited. Will any of it be carbon fiber?

will you also be selling a front bumper/grill conversion kit for the 2016/17 Pre LCI cars? Would definitely be interested in that and potentially the wide body kit, fenders etc.

Looking at an SL 65 black series, this is not far off, if smoothed out a bit. Hard to tell with black cars in dark pics.
