New to MB World, so take mercy on me if I've omitted any required info, or have overlooked any typical rules of engagement for the forum. Currently in the market for a 2018-2019 AMG GT C Coupe. Lots of roadsters on the secondary market at the moment, not as many Coupes. Open to interesting specs, though trying to avoid MAGNO finishes. (Have been on the hunt for Black on Auburn/Saddle)
For some additional context, I have been an SL + P Car owner, and this is my first jump into an AMG. I've been weighing a 991.2 GTS ( coupe/targa) vs. the GT C and feel that while the GTS is a great vehicle overall, it doesn't elicit the same emotion as the AMG.
Hey there CGB. I think you’re headed in the right direction. I just got a 2019 GTC coupe and it’s amazing. I also have a 2009 SL550 & a 2019 base AMG gt roadster. The GTC rides much better than the base GT. It has comfort approaching the SL with the fun and drama of any of the AMG GT’s. I found mine on autotrader. There are still a couple GTC’s out there with virtually no miles, and being sold as CPO cars. That’s what I bought.

Great GT car, comfortable, great handling and good power delivery. I think you will love it !!!
Thank you! Very much enjoying it. It's certainly not as precise as the 911, nor as quick as the GTC, but it has character, plenty of power, and I'll never tire of looking at it.

I read that Aston Martin is offering to change out the current grill for a new one with horizontal slats. That was the only styling item on the Vantage that I thought needed to be changed. It is a spectacularly beautiful car.
