Is there a way to set this as the default screen?

Hey guys -

is there a way to set the engine info screen as the default or create a shortcut for it through the * button?

I don't know how flexible the Favorites are in the PFL COMAND system, but in the FL COMMAND 5.5 system I have all three Dynamics screens added to my Favorites. Can't have them come up by default, but can just press * on the steering wheel and then select the one I want from the Favorites.

Sort of on topic but does anyone know how to change it to display F instead of C?

I was just trying to figure out how to save this screen as one of my favorites the other day but couldn’t get it - 16GTS - if anyone could tell me it would be appreciated.

also on a side note, anyone who has done a stage 1 tuning, does the ecu reflash happen to update this screen to show a power band past 500? And when you push the car does the digital read out go past 500?

I tried to set that up on my '18 GTC, could never figure it out. I think you could get some savvy programer to figure it out and upload the modification through one of those OBD plugs. They can change the splash screen, turn off auto-start/stop off, set the vehicle mode to "last used" instead of "comfort"

I was told (The center/command screen with engine instruments) can't be changed to F from C. I also haven't figured out how to get it to save as a favorite so it is easy to bring up.

Both would be nice.

I would like to know how to even get to the screen that shows these gauges. LOL I dont think they had this on the early edition GTS cars. Always forget to ask my SA if there is an update but figured they always update whatever is needed.
I mean my wifes old GLE350 had the screen where i can see the HP and TQ but my GTS doesnt?

Not true, my GTS does not have access to the HP/TQ screen nor does my MY2016 GL63.

It's on my 17, just tried it, but cannot get the favorites to save it as some above have done. Still, I can get to it pretty fast. On the downside, I lose control of music choices in "media" when the gauges are displayed. Music plays, but I cannot advance forward or replay.

I know its on the 2017+ models. I could of sworn I seen a 2016 GTS that I was looking to buy before the one I bought had a picture of the HP/TQ screen but it must of been a later 2016 model. I know that MB updated the Nav screen in the middle of 2016 hence why my wifes 2016 GLE had it and my 2016 GL63 used the older model Nav screen.
I wouldnt mind the ability to not be able to change music, as the car makes all the music I want to hear, LOL
But yeah that is weird you can only use the screen for the viewing of that and nothing else. I can just see a German Engineer saying " NEIN, on this screen das is all they can see or do"

My 16 GTS has it - But I also have the P71 Dynamic Plus Package so I wonder if that’s the differentiation maybe?
