2015 Audi R8 V10 plus VS 2016 AMG GTS, TRACK

Previous owner of Gen 3 Dodge Viper, now deciding between type 42 Audi R8 V10 plus VS 2016 AMG GTS.
Track enthusiast, so any advice/reply is greatly appreciated:
Heat issues by upgrading Turbos (Weistec) ?
Hp safe limit for stock engine ?
Torque safe limit for stock Gearbox ?
Widest rear tyre size ?
KW V4 good setup ?, this is hte only Coilover upgrade I could find, I have experience with Motons and Ohlins which are superb.
Brake cooling duct kit ?, couldn´t find any.

GTS will be really good and you’ll be plenty happy, if you can find the budget for GTR and track duty is a priority, go that route.
Heat issues by upgrading Turbos (Weistec) ?
No, depending: but if wanting bigger turbos go with PTG1000’s, otherwise if staying with stock housing Pure900. But you will generally create more heat pushing stock turbo housing sized turbos harder with more boost when tuned.
Hp safe limit for stock engine ?
Plenty of headroom if done correctly, close to 1,000whp no problem, probably want to turn it down on road course…..
Torque safe limit for stock Gearbox ?
Depends on a few factors, generally you’ll need to upgrade the clutch packs once large housing turbos combined with additional fueling (methonal, corn, etc) and what you do with TCU tune and pressures.
Widest rear tyre size ?
Depends on width and offset of wheels, factory wheel on GTS can get the 315/30-20 R888r back there….go to a 12” wheel a 325 never a problem on track with proper offset. 335 or 355 can get tricky and have seen rubbing in wheel well.
KW V4 good setup ?Yes, this is hte only Coilover upgrade I could find, I have experience with Motons and Ohlins which are superb.
Brake cooling duct kit ?, couldn´t find any.

.
Since tracking appears to be a priority, recommend GT R.
And considering above, would consider below among the first upgrades:

Enhanced Brake Cooling Options:

1 https://www.tikt.de/en/tuning/amg-gtr/brakes - the best, Front & Rear available

2 https://ansixauto.com/front-brake-du...z-amg-gt-gt-s/ Front & Rear available

3 OEM Brake ducts from the GT R PRO

Has anyone drove both the R8 and AMG GTS on track? Which handles better? According to online resources it seems like the gts will outlap the r8 according to fastestlaps.com

The GTS has a much higher ceiling for both power and handling. If you track the GTS, get the ceramic brakes, but be warned, they will last longer but replacements are expensive, but you won’t have over heating issues. There are ducs you can get as well for brake cooling.
