Excellent points. What type of (if any) long term damage can be done with an idle unserviced new 5 year old car? Or is it simply give it a good service and done?

I'll be interested to see what the veterans say on this topic. I just had B1 service done on time but had to go elsewhere and pay for it. I tried multiple times and avenues to reach out to the local MB dealer to get service done. Never got a call back or schedule. So not wanting to harm the history I had it done by an independent. didn't hurt too bad.
Mecum has a 2020 GTR with 23 miles on it that will be auctioned at Indy. I would personally want something that has some miles on it and was maintained. With my luck, I would buy something like that, 100miles into get an ABS warning and then be told the entire system needs to be replaced.....out of warranty. Would prefer someone else to have figured that out when the car was in warranty. Only way to find issues is to put some miles on them.
Ultimately people can ask whatever they want for a car/motorcycle/boat, etc. I see people ask outrageous prices for custom Harleys sometimes they sell sometimes they don't. I guess if you list it at a crazy price and someone is willing to pay it. Well, that is good for the seller and the buyer gets what he/she wants.
