Picked up a 2020 Green Hell Magno Roadster!!
Hey guys, Just wanted to post to say that I am back in another AMG! So stoked.
Last one I had was my full Renntech S63. This time, I picked up, as the title says, a 2020 Green Hell Magno Roadster.
The car is just phenomenal! It is currently sitting on 20”/21” HRE RS103M wheels. They have been finished in gloss black with a green time attack stripe to match the paint. The carbon ceramic calipers have been painted to match as well. Everything else is stock. For now….
I’m planning on changing out the wheels so these will be up for sale soon. Looking to get something different from HRE, ADV1, ANRKY, AL13…something along those lines. Definitely going to stick with a 20”/21” combo however. I may paint the calipers back to the factory bronze color as well.
Since this is a roadster, I think the aural thrills need to be heightened. I think I speak for most of the vert owners when I say that a huge part of driving this car is hearing the sounds the car makes. To that end, I’m thinking of getting a set of aftermarket downpipes as well as blow-off valves which will provide that turbo pressure release sound a lot more loudly.
Looking to get the car tuned as well. I am currently trying to decide on a vendor and probably looking to put an entire package together so that there is consistency with the modifications.
The car needs to be lower by about a half an inch as well and that will be taken care of. Will keep you all posted as we progress! Christian

Congrats on your new car man - it's absolutely badass. I'd love to work with you and help you pick out the perfect wheel design, color, and fitment for it. We're the largest dealer in the world for three of the brands that you named: HRE, ANRKY, and AL13. I'll take care of you with a deal since you're an MB World member. Reach out to me when you're ready. David@WheelsBoutique.com || 786 249 0127 ext. 2109.

MBWorld Fanatic!
The knee-jerk reaction to get more sound is to go with downpipes. Except when you realize the mechanical issues are largely a PITA, and of course you like the sound of spoons in a garbage disposal.
I like the idea of repainting stock calipers Bronze as well.

Saw this one listed at a couple different dealers and was eyeing myself! Does it have a Renntech tune already, I swear I remember it being in the pictures of the trunk where it was previous listed at. Enjoy, good looking ride!!!

I’m 95% on going back to bronze calipers. As for the downpipes, not really a knee-jerk reaction. I have run aftermarket downpipes on a lot of my turbo cars for added performance and sound. Like I said originally, the main thing I am going for here is trying to get more of the mechanical, exhaust, engine, etc., sounds from the car. I think that is a huge part of the allure of a roadster after all. Of course, I am also looking for increasing performance as much as possible without making huge sacrifices in driveability.

Maybe I’ll have to see about the calipers once we pick out a set of rims. I’m really leaning towards something with a highly polished lip and gloss black center. Something that will contrast with the Magno paint finish. (For now you might be right on just getting the center caps black….I’ll have to break out a Sharpie marker maybe haha

Going to start a new thread soon……but I have wheels already here (20x10 fronts and 21x12.5 rears) as well as new PZero Corsa tires with rear 355/25/21. Working on a new GTR PRO front bumper and fenders too. Power is still up for debate but possibly going with bigger turbos right now instead of waiting (deciding between a couple of different turbo options and tuning). I love this beast from the Green Hell!!!
