Highest Mileage AMG GT/S/R
I have a 2016 AMG GTS with just over 11,000 miles on it.
I am curious as to how many high mileage AMG GT/S/R cars are floating around.
Looking at online car advertisements today (26 Dec 2022), I see a 2018 AMG GTR with 90,669 miles and a 2016 AMG GTS with 62,366 miles.
Are you all aware of other high mileage cars floating around? What are the highest mileage examples you have seen?

When I was looking to buy a GT I decided to buy the highest mileage car available at the time (last Summer, 41k miles) to get a price break. My car now has 45k miles. I doubt I'll ever sale it, so mileage doesn't matter much to me. This GTS had the highest mileage I've seen for sale (and still brought over $70k). Makes me think our cars will bottom out at around 50% of MSRP.

I recall another online auto publication also noting the same as above.

I sold my leased X3 back to the dealer after driving 2 years out of 3 year lease for $12,000 on top of lease buy out price in January.

I’m debating buying a GTS with 84k mileage. I’m still in two kinds of this is a sensible decision or not. One owner from new who used the car daily but I’m just worried about potential upcoming costs. It’s the highest mileage GTS I’ve seen but it’s a nice spec and a good 10k cheaper than an equivalent lower mileage GTS. Any advice would help!

@Jedddavies reach out if you'd like to see extended warranty pricing and coverages available for the GTS w/ 84k miles.... 2016 AMG GTS w/ 84k miles is going to be $5,690 for an additional 7 years / 100k miles, $100 deductible of inclusionary coverage. You can reach me at tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333
*Correction, looks like you're across the pond* but the information above is accurate coverage details for AMG GT's with over 80k miles, less miles = exclusionary coverage for less money as well.

Given the costs associated with a major repair/replacement in the UK, which I’m almost positive is far worse than here in the Colonies, I personally would rather spend the extra 10K GBP on a much lower mileage GTS, and still purchase an extended warranty. One DCT/Motor replacement or major rebuild will quickly ‘undo’ your initial 10K GBP savings.
