Base GT Suspension Question

Is it true that the base GT has conventional steel springs and is non adjustable?

Reading through the variants and their differences now and curious

All GT have steel springs and AMG Ride Control, which is an adaptive and adjustable suspension, except for the GT R Pro, which has a manually adjustable, non-adaptive suspension.

Maybe here in the states we didnt get the base model suspension then?

https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-re...s-2015-review/

"The S also gets a variety of chassis goodies, an electronically controlled limited slip diff and three-stage adaptive dampers (by Multimatic) as opposed to the purely mechanical diff and passive suspension in the GT, along with bigger brakes and tyres."

Online brochure from 2015 here also states that the base car has "AMG Sports Suspension" Vs "
AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with adjustable damper system" http://blog.le-parnass.com/catalogue...g_gt201506.pdf

I have a base model 2019 AMG GT roadster. The base model lacked standard adjustable suspension and adjustable exhaust. However these were available as options. I ordered both. Most base models that I saw ordered by dealers had the adjustable exhaust but lacked the adjustable suspension.

I stand corrected. I didn't realize that AMG Ride Control was optional on the GT. It still stands that all have coil springs, but the base GT evidently lacks the adjustable damper system, but could be optioned with AMG Ride Control.

As mentioned already the adaptive dampers and adjustable motor mounts are an option on the GT. Easy way to tell is the bottom left round button on the center stack is a blank for cars that don't have it. The base GT Roadster is also a little different as it borrows some bracing from the GTR for rigidity but can also be optioned with the adjustable dampers.

I had a 2018 GT coupe and now have a 2020 cab. The coupe came with adjustable suspension as an option. I liked it but I could not find the option on any 2019 or 2020 cabs for some reason. 2020 coupes also had the option fitted almost across the board. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
