Comfort Entry Not Working

Comfort Entry Not Working
Hi all,
The comfort entry feature on my GTS hasn't worked since I bought it. My seat isn't set all the way back and the wheel is lowered while driving, yet when I turn the car off the seat doesn't move back and the wheel doesn't go up.
The comfort entry/exit option is enabled (I have tried disabling and re-enabling it). I searched the forums and followed some reset steps off a post with a CLS thinking they were the same; no change.
Does anyone know if there are special reset instructions for the GT?

I took my convertible in & the service advisor gave me some sort of excuse the feature doesn't work on this particular model. I didn't have the energy that day to challenge him. It would be nice if my steering wheel raised & seat went fully back.

Is the actual steering wheel motor working? Maybe that is why?

My 2016 GTS lists the feature and I can see where you turn it on and all but has never worked. So I saved on setting 3 of the seat memories to be the ideal spot for the seat and the wheel for getting in and out. Of course you have to hit the button every time....
If anyone figures out how to get it working that would be great

Mine never functioned either. I know that it won't do anything, if you already have the steering column in the highest position, for driving.
I don't think the easy entry adjusts the seat, I believe it's only supposed to adjust the steering column.

I think the seats at least if you are already pretty far back, it wouldn't move when you exit the vehicle.

Hello, yes sorry for no update. Turns out it is just the steering wheel column. I lowered my column just a tad and, upon turning the vehicle off, it raises up.
I liked the above suggestion with setting the memory on the seats. Mine is #1, my wife is #2 and our “comfort exit” is set to #3 (seat all the way back and wheel all the way up) which has made things much easier!
