I recently bought AMG GT S 2016, but it has the silver calipers instead of red. I never seen an example of GTs having silver calipers, how likely the VIN number of my car was altered and it's a fake GTs? Are they ways to differentiate GT vs GTs?
No need to look at the caliper color; could have been painted as AMG 17GT stated. The GT has smaller 360mm front rotors so the dust cover behind it is visible. GTS has 390mm and multi piece...
seems as a proper GTs size?
I thought maybe something happened to calipers and they were swapped on GT ones. This car got 4k miles and cost me $85k, which is kind of low for GTs, however it's 2016

Yes. These are the larger multi-piece rotors of the GTS. It also shows that it is repainted (GTS caliper and black lettering). The GT caliper is different and will not fit on the larger rotor
Yep, and these are actually Brembo full floating rotors. Have them on my C63S coupe now as well. Does indeed look like the previous owner didn't like red for the calipers, but they are the S calipers.
