I’m pretty excited to be picking up a 2018 GT C next week. What are the most common mods people do to these cars? I was thinking of adding a tune and would like some feedback, what company should I go with? Velocity AP or Renntech or other?
I like loud cars and imagine it will be to quiet. What exhaust do you guys and gals recommend?
any other tips, suggestions, or quirks I should know about?

Car looks great, especially with the light top. My top is black. Your top looks 100% better. The interior is really beautiful. Mine, again, is black.
My suggestion would be for you to drive the car for a while and see how you like it. It's already got more HP than you can ever legally (or sanely) use on public roads. If you plan to track it, track it first a couple of times without mods.
After you've lived with it for a while then you can figure out what you need, if anything. Wouldn't it be great if the car, as delivered, was just what you wanted?
If you decide not to mod it, please send me half the money you will have saved for such excellent advice. You can send via Zelle.

thanks for the advice but it will be modded. I come from a Lamborghini background so I like the noise and more power. I guess the big question is what is the max power and torque this car can properly put down without just spinning the tires to the moon?
Congrats. I also have a 2018 GTC. The Edition 50.
The sound is awesome assuming you have the sport exhaust option. Some people swear by removing the two rear resonators to enhance the lower end sound. I usually drive mine on the street with the race engine setting which combined with the sport exhaust is plenty loud for most people. I tried a third party exhaust controller but it did absolutely nothing on the 2018. I personally wouldn't want it any louder. There are many tuners and I agree with you that more power is better. I think 605 to 615 HP creates an optimal power to weight ratio both on the street and on the track. If you want more power than that I think you're looking at swapping out the turbos which of course starts the Domino's falling. Most people seem to like Eurocharge and Weistec. I've used OE Tuning but I'm currently not recommending them due to a continuing engine light problem and limp mode result. Hoping to get that figured out sooner than later or I'll be switching to one of the above tuners. Good luck and keep us apprised.
Congrats, beautiful specs. I have a light interior Porsche. Would not want it for a daily driver but for a part time driver it's beautiful.
I do not like Lambo loud cars, but even given that I somewhat wish my GTS was louder. I assume I'd go with downpipe mods if I want louder. I went with the OE tune and have had no issues. Was planning Eurocharge until OE had a sale.
There is another recent thread discussing 800hp type options. I don't feel like whatever power I have with only the regular OE tune is overpowered for the traction. But I bet I'd feel that way with just a little more.
Have fun. I also enjoy car modding (but more in the semi sleeper kind of mode).
I went with OE Stage 1 tuning and loved it, then I put dowpipes and went to Stage 2 tunning with OE Tuning as well. The sound for me is now perfect with the valves open. As for power with Stage 2 its plenty for me and what I use the car for. I dont track the car so for spirited drives it has plenty of power to upset the traction control and with the DP's it screams when under full throttle.
Now you have to know that this engine will not sound as loud as a Lambo does, even with DP's installed but imho it sounds perfect. It is a 4L V8 and not a Lambo V12 or V10.
