What is my GTR worth?
Debating if i should sell my GTR in the near future, need ideas in pricing it. has a decent amount of tasteful modifications.
Jupiter Red 2019 GTR. 21k Miles driven. Im the 3rd owner. Bought it in june 2021 with 9700 miles. Serviced at mercedes benz dealership
mods are as follows
1) Eurocharged stage 2 dyno tuned
2) project gamma 4” downpipes (Still have uncut stock cats that will go with the car)
3) AMG GT4 Wing (Imported from germany which is extremely hard to get
4) 2020 Steering wheel with alcantara and carbon fiber with red stitching
5) Renntech diffuser extension in carbon fiber
6) Renntech canards on front bumper
7) OEM Roll Bar sourced from mercteil imported from germany
8) Front lip spoiler in carbon fiber
9) PPF on the whole car
10) 5 year ceramic coating
11) Black boost performance air intakes ( stock intake will come with the car )
The car is flawless and gets plenty of attention at cars and coffee etc
Because the list of mods is quite unique i wanted to get an idea on what could it be possibly worth in the current market

2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R
The worth of a car is what a buyer is willing to pay for it.
Although the list of mods is impressive, rarely will you get your money back for them when selling the car. If it was me I think I would pull the add-ons and see what you can get for them. You also have to prep the car to pass smog in the event you sell it to someone that has strict laws, ie, California.
You have a really good looking car in an appealing color but you have to be realistic.
A GT R, I think it was a 2020, just sold on BaT for $185K. It only had 2,700 miles.

Yes the mods dont pay back but definitely adds value. 2019 GTR’s with 21k miles everything stock is going between 145-150. Would asking $160 be realistic for it?

I would pay $160k, all day long 'as is', she is a beauty!
I already have a Renntech GTR or i would buy her.
Why are you selling?

I'm not sure why you think the modifications definitely add value. I think they add uncertainty and at this price point that's not a good thing. Bring a Trailer shows every week that most modded cars are worth less than originals. Of course there are exceptions. With such relatively high miles, this would definitely be considered a driver's car, and you need to find a very specific buyer. I'd be happy to get $150K for it. I would try to sell it with the mods intact and see what kind of interest you get. If you don't get enough legitimate interest (you'll probably get a ton of people interested who can't afford it and want to lowball you), then I'd consider removing certain of those mods and try again. Good luck! Looks like you had a lot of fun which I think is the most important thing.

it could always be taken off and sold individually but im sure theres someone out there that would appreciate it
that gt4 wing is almost close to impossible to get
And i get it, most people would prefer to buy car stock so the option to return it to stock is always there

I was in a similar situation many years ago with my 2009 Nissan GT R. I had invested a lot of money in larger intercoolers; titanium exhaust; suspension upgrades; a custom ECU tune; DCT cooler, etc., although no cosmetic mods. I made the decision to have all of the aftermarket parts removed, and managed to sell all of them for about 2/3rds of my cost, plus placed the OEM tune back on the car. I managed to sell the car fairly quickly, and the parts were snapped up fast also.
You have a gorgeous car, with very tasteful mods. As others have stated, I’d first list it as is and for the right person(s) it might be the exact car they’re looking for. If a lack of interest, then think about getting the car back into an OEM drivetrain state; perhaps you’ll have more luck.
Good luck with the sale!

Rather than (potentially very long) waiting on the (more than likely: very) few select potential buyers who would be willing to pay the price you have set in your mind accounting for all the tasteful mods:
Vehicle buyer audience significantly increases on an unmodified/'unmolested' example, no matter how tasteful the mods. Tunes can (typically) negatively impact vehicle perception.
In general, the notion of 'mods do not add to the price/value of the vehicle' is a popularly held opinion.
Buyers on BaT, etc who are willing to pay a premium, usually do so on vehicles that are stock or as close to stock as possible, and with meticulous service/maintenance records.
As others have mentioned: recommend returning vehicle to close to stock as possible, and recoup some of your investment with individual sales of aftermarket parts.
GLWS, and success with your future business endeavors!

Unless you can find a buyer on this or other forums that appreciate the mods, they will drop the value of the car for mods.
People are wary of tunes although it’s likely not a warranty concern anymore.
But modded or not, any GT model over 10k miles takes a hit.
Beautiful car!! Good luck!

Always thought yours was one of the nicest modded GTR’s around! $160K might be a stretch right now but likely returned to stock you’d end up there or close all told (minus your time/$ to de-mod). It seems they just dont bring the money modded but the mods themselves, especially that GT4 wing) bring money fairly easily. Good luck with sale!
