AMG GT-C (and others) - Lithium Battery Replacement
Friends,
Have any of you replaces the lithium battery with an Antigravity lithium battery? I have done so and the car works fine, but I still get the annoying battery message after about 5-10 minutes of driving. It remains charged etc.
Does anyone know what the connector (lithium CAN equivalent?) from the original battery is and how it works? Ideally, I'd like to wire that up properly to the Antigravity instead of "coding an AGM"
Alternatively, a friend has the diagnostic tools etc and can help me code the battery to AGM, but I'd rather find out how to make the connector work if possible.
Sorry I know there are several battery posts, but I couldn't find one that explained how that connector works and how to use an aftermarket LITHIUM battery with no error. Thanks!

2018 AMG GTC
I just went through a battery change on my 2018 gtc, ended up buying the mb lithium. Before I made a decision I spoke to the guys at anti gravity and they do not have a connector for that. They told me no one makes it. I also traded messages with Benz Ninja, he can permanently code out the error code you’re getting. I recommend contacting them. They offer single repairs and a membership plan.

No, You can't use aftermarket battery. there is a computer inside battery talk to engine computer with special code by LIN bus to control charging, Also li-ion battery needs all kind protection things to prevent damage/fire. I even tried Porsche Li-fe battery with computer, does not work as program inside battery is different.

really no chance to replace it with a "simple" AGM battery without having DTC or other issues?
