I think you meant mid front engine or front mid engine.
I guess Mercedes figured out that that fat pig C192 isn't going to be holding its own on the ring. So they had to go back to AMG for the answer.
The C192 is also 100% AMG but the criteria for the design was just different. More space/seats/practicality, easier entry, AWD and all the usual MB amenities.
It’s a beautiful coupe IMO but it lost the rawness, lightweight, agility and mechanical feel of the car and gained a lot of weight in the process. The C190 feels like a proper match to a 911…
