Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer.

Cleans any solid interior automotive surface without grease or smearing. Leaves a nice, distinctive scent along, too.

Great stuff. I wish they made an airfreshner for that smell.

I tried using Zaino polish to use on the wood trim. It looks very beautiful, and its smooth.

Before I've also tried using, Meguirs PlastX to remove minor swirls/scratches in the wood trim. It only help a bit..

Hey Ricky.. I used the Spray Detailer spray on a micro fiber cloth...

As for the initial treatment.. I've Zainoed my entire wood trim (5 layers) as well as my chrome parts, and it looks even better than new now.. plus it's protected even more. Then I just use the Z-6 on a microfiber for fingerprints.

for regular cleaning use the Meg's Quik Detailer. If you want to get rid of swirls, polish them using Klasse All in One. Great product. Never was a fan of the topping of Zaino. Too much money for me. Maybe later ill test it out.

These are alternative products to Megs (absolutely nothing detrimental to say about Meg’s product line) it’s just that I don’t use their products.

Trim cleaning:
The interior trim consists of the dash, vents, hard plastic surfaces and vinyl trim. These surfaces all can be cleaned using a damp Microfiber towel and a 5:1 Woolite / distilled water solution and with a water-based, anti-static cleaner that contains UVR protection (Iz einszett ****pit Premium For all plastic surfaces (BTI Chemicals Plexus® Plastic Polish & Cleaner) including wood, as they are protected with a urethane clear coat

Simply apply a small amount of product to damp Microfiber cloth and apply to surface, then buff with a dry Microfiber cloth, usually a small section at a time. Agitate with assorted interior detailing brushes and wipe excess moisture with a terry towel.

Repeat this process on all plastic and vinyl surfaces. Some panels that are heavily soiled may require several cleaning steps to reach desired level. After applying products allow drying and then wiping all surfaces with a damp towel. The wood trim in most vehicles (Mercedes Benz uses real wood) is protected with a urethane clear coat, polyurethane or a thin lacquer, which is very easily scratched. Remove scratches with a fine polish (Groit's Fine Hand Polish) clean /protect with a chemical cleaner (Klasse All-In-One) and then buff with a clean 100% cotton towel.

Is there an more effective way to get the mini scratch marks off the wood trim?

I use PlastX and I use Zaino Z2 or Z5
